The Talented Carole King One of America’s most prolific songwriters, Carole King, created music immortalized by Aretha Franklin, Bobby Vee, The Chiffons, The Shirelles, The Monkees and many more – and then she began her own career as a singer-songwriter. Her album Tapestry shot to #1 on the charts and stayed there for 15 weeks. This class explores the elements of King’s songs that make them popular and timeless in American culture.
